Same-day care when a dental problem cannot wait.
Dental emergencies are stressful because they interrupt everything at once: comfort, sleep, eating, work, and the sense that something is wrong. At seesmile, we keep time in the schedule for urgent dental visits, so if you are in pain, swollen, bleeding, or dealing with a broken tooth, you can often be seen the same day.
Call us first and tell us what is happening. We will help you understand how urgent it sounds, what to do before you arrive, and when we can see you.
When to call
When to see an emergency dentist
Urgent dental care may be needed for severe or worsening tooth pain, facial or gum swelling, bleeding that will not stop, a knocked-out tooth, a broken tooth, a loose tooth, or a lost crown or filling that has left a tooth sharp or sensitive. If you are unsure, call us and describe your symptoms.

If you have swelling that affects your breathing or swallowing, or a serious injury to the face or jaw, do not wait. Go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
What to do first
Common emergencies and what to do first
For a severe toothache, rinse gently with warm salt water and avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum. For a broken or chipped tooth, save any pieces and use a cold compress outside the cheek. For a knocked-out tooth, hold it by the crown, not the root, keep it moist in milk or back in the socket if possible, and call us right away. For a lost crown or filling, avoid chewing on that side and bring the crown if you still have it.
These steps are meant to help until you can be seen. They are not a substitute for treatment.
